It’s that time of year again where Hetton Hawks show their support for le Tour by hosting our very own mini race day.
This Saturday will be le Tour de Hetton – A fun morning of skills, hill climbs, sprints and races for all our riders to get involved with. There will be T-shirts for winners of each event (Polka Dot, Green, White and of course the coveted Yellow Jersey.. well T-shirt)
Le Tour de Hetton is also a chance for our Young Volunteers to get involved in setting up and running events. Just like the Regional and Go Ride races we do, they will still need help and support from Parents & Guardians. So if you can offer assistance on Saturday it will be gratefully received I am sure.
The morning will be slightly extended as we have a full Tour to run in a short time window. We will open Sign on for 09:30 and riders need to be ready for the Rider briefing at 09:50 for a 10:00 start. We will aim to finish as close to 12:00 as possible, however with presentations it is likely to run over so please bear with us.
NEWSFLASH: Hetton Race 2015/16 Series
This event will also make up the last round of the Hetton Hawks 2015/16 Race Series. There are a couple of close battles so this could mean the difference between first, second and third place. The results are available in the downloads section or by clicking here.
