SATURDAY 7th JULY
This Saturday is our last session before the summer holiday break, we return to Hetton on the 1st September. However please look out for social rides & possibly some early CX sessions during the holiday period.
This Saturday we are hosting the annual Tour de Hetton where all riders will compete in a hillclimb, time trial & finish off with a race. Medals will be awarded for each of the 3 disciplines and the overall winners in each age category(girls & boys) will receive a trophy.
This is a fun event and is designed to bring the techniques you will have learnt in the last 12 weeks into real riding situations.
We will be having a picnic after so bring something to share, there will also be an ice cream van serving at the end.
PLEASE ARRIVE EARLIER THAN NORMAL AS WE ARE LOOKING TO START THE EVENTS AT 9-30 NOT THE USUAL 10am.
The weather is looking hot again so make sure you bring water & sun cream, see everyone on Saturday.
